Sigh. I flew gliders for three years (about 161 flights, maybe 50 hours). I haven't flown for far too long: however there are remnants of a glider club at Kakabeka falls, so who knows. This was bliss in life (one of my ex's resented my description of it being better than sex, but then that's reality for you). One of the more spiritual experiences I've had: skydiving, in comparison, was a bit of a boring let-down. Oh, well.
I've got plans for a foot-launchable glider which I might work on (the Carbon Dragon), and definitely must get back in order to answer my soul's calls.
